1. Motivation

These policies specify reserved Global I-Names. They are motivated by the need to:

2. Reserved Public Global I-Name Policy

The following Global I-Names are reserved by XDI.ORG for public use in documentation and examples (so as to avoid conflicts with actual registered XRIs or confusion with common HTTP URIs) and MUST NOT be registered in any Global I-Name Registries.

In addition to the exact names listed below, which per the XRI specifications are case-insensitive, the plural form of each I-Name (i.e., adding "s", "es", or "ies") is also reserved.
